This 103 HPQ clutch allows for a quicker shift out and a greater top end speed. This clutch has a larger diameter pulley and greater sheave angles than OEM to provide more ratio and less wear on the drive belt and sheave faces. The increased angle of the sheaves means smoother up shift because the moveable face pushes (not pinches) the belt to the outer diameter of the clutch.
